I don’t make good graphics, but this will have to work for right now!
It gets better! :)
ERIC FROM IMAGINEERING. I love him. Anyway, this is fabulous.
It really does get better, everyone!
So, I hope you all followed the Facebook and voted for us on DoSomething! If you haven’t, go for it!
Today is another day to spread smiles, so get out there and do something wonderful! I will have the pledge page up soon, with a graphic for your Facebooks and Tumblrs, hopefully, very soon!
For right now, just tell all your friends to like the page and follow the blog!
Thank you all!
Tori
All of my love to you all ;)
Continue to share smiles!
Oh! Thank you, SO MUCH, Sweet Pea! The best way to help out right now, is just to reblog, Facebook, tell your friends! Just get the word out there as much as possible!
Again, thank you so much! Have a magical day and happy Holidays, Sweetie.
Well, since I’ve yet to do an introduction post, here it is!
I’m Tori, the admin for this blog. Hopefully, in the future, it won’t be just me, but for right now, I’m the only one running this blog.
I started the Sharing Smiles Campaign one day, after seeing a friend getting hate almost on a daily basis on her Tumblr page. After having had a little too much of the cruelty, I made a post about it. I didn’t want to fight hate with hate, because it gets you nowhere. After I made comments on her character and asked nicely for the hate to stop, it continued anyway.
I saw that making posts and asking nicely will get you nowhere. Being a forever optimist, I say, fight hate with undying kindness. For all the bad in the world, let’s make a good. That’s where Sharing Smiles comes in.
I propose that we start with one good deed a week, starting with a smile. Smile at anyone. Smile at a friend. Smile at an enemy. Share a smile and start a chain reaction. After that, start to get bigger, broaden your horizons. Donate to a food bank, volunteer at an animal shelter, help a friend with a difficult subject. Do something to share a smile with someone else, and then, hopefully, they’ll share that smile with someone else, and on, and on.
Thank you!
